Milou Stella’s practice often engages with heritage sites, objects and stories embedded in myth, memory and folklore. They are a recent associate artist at Open School East and facilitator. Their recent work included soft sculptures, sound, costume, audiovisual installations and it looked into biology, queer theory, new materialism and language as a way to unpack human reproductive desire, using creative methodologies towards research and collaboration.
